if you want great accuracy, spend the little bit extra for this is a fine, fine weapon. mine shoots very sub moa with middle of the road ammo. Chris was more than happy to answer all of my questions before and after the sale. excellent quality product and great people to deal with.

while it is true that you usually get what you pay for…..I got more than I paid for.

The PR20 is Great AR10,, Well Balanced, Not a bad carry for a larger person. l was worried about weight with 20″” Bull Barrel and the extra weigt and walking, but very usable hiking, I ordered a few factory extra’s, the tungsten color looks great with the bead blasted stailess and optional nickle boron, target grip and stainless flash suppressor, it has shot flawless with various brands, weights and grades of ammo. No reason to believe it won’t last as well as any brand, very high quality parts. Thanks. Great Staff!!

My first ar 10, I don’t have anything to compare it to but it is awesome in my eyes. I have less than 12 rounds through it and already taken a deer. I have no reason to believe that it will not last my life time. Very well put together ar 10.

Best AR10/.308 for the buck. They stand behind their rifles and they are reliable and accurate. I have many rifles and other AR’s and Live Free Armory rifles are high quality, not the cheap junk you buy at Gander Mountain or Bass Pro!

I could not be happier. First, the only downside. Get a muzzle brake. I did not and regretted it. I just finished a long range shooting class and the rifle preformed flawlessly all the way out to 1100 yards. It did seem to like 175gr a little better than 168gr. The farthest I shot before this was 100yrds. Don’t waste your money on something else. I have the tungsten and will order the burnt bronze soon. Again 99.99999% pleased.

This is my first gun intended for distances over 300yd, it did not disappoint. I called them up and talked to the owner who was awesome, he answered ALL questions I could come up with and seemed more than happy to do so. Fit and finish are excellent, the FDE cerakote looks great, and the PRS stock and handguard they put on matches well (need to call them up if you want those in FDE also). The stock trigger is good for what it is but I planned on replacing it as they do not carry Giselle triggers, the flash hider looks a little out of place on such a big barrel but I intend on swapping it out also so no big deal there.
Put a bunch of inexpensive 147g target ammo through it and was getting around 1.25″ groups at 100yd off sandbags with a vortex viper 6-24x, had a 16″ gong at 500-600yd (didnt measure) and was ringing it consistently after a bit of finding my holdover. This was my first time really going for any type of distance like that and this rifle made it seem easy. If you do your part then this rifle will do its part.
Downside is this is a heavy rifle, got a lot of steel in the barrel and it shows. If you are going for a bench gun or something to shoot off a mat this is an excellent choice. If you are intending to go hunting or drag this thing around with you for a while you may want to look at the lite hunter, the hunter, or just hit the gym before hand.
I would absolutely buy this rifle again!

My PR20 is amazing! Customer service was amazing! Shoots amazing!

I ordered mine with all the upgraded options (trigger, stock, grip, muzzle rise) and tungsten cerakote. It is absolutely beautiful. I put a Vortex Crossfire II 6-24x/50 sight on it and this thing looks mean. Then I went to a local range this past weekend. Shooting mid-grade ammo I dialed in a 100 yard zero. Even with the not-so-best ammo I was consistently getting 1/2″ to 1″ groups at that distance. There were some strays every now and then, but that’s to be expected from the ammo. Overall the shots were really consistent. Then I used an app on my phone (Strelok) to go from the 100 yard target to a 400 yard target up on a hillside. Dead on every single round. This gun is clearly going to be accurate on some long distance shooting, which is exactly why I bought it. In the next few months I hope to get to a range were I can shoot 600-1,000 yards to find its accuracy limit. I’ll use better ammo for those shoots.

The ONLY hiccups I’ve had with the gun:
1-The cerakote looks great, but after 2 days at the range, and lots of times breaking down the gun to clean it after every few shots, the cerakote where the charging handle rubs on the upper (just under the charging handle) was already showing signs of wear. It actually wore the cerakote of where the charging handle lays/rubs (very small spots though). Not a major issue, it just shows I use the gun. I also noticed a small spot on the triangular bulge above the forward assist where the cerakote is slightly rubbed from my hard case. The case has the cheap foam in it and bulge apparently cut through the foam and rubbed on the plastic case. Time to get the stiffer foam in the case and cut it to fit the gun.
2-The magpul magazine would stick during the first 10-20 rounds I put through it and the spring wouldn’t push the bullets all the way up in the magazine, which then the bolt wouldn’t catch the next round and chamber it. Easy fix, plenty of Rem oil with teflon and work the spring a bunch of times to wear it in a bit. Not Live Free’s fault at all…
3-If you’re a pansy, this gun is too heavy for you to lug around the mountains. If you’re fit and can carry 15-20 pounds without issue, this gun makes you feel like a bad ass (like me).

Finally after almost a year i am writing my promised review of this rifle, i wasn’t able to test it out like i wanted for a long time, but this morning we took it out and i was very impressed. the scope i was using on it was holding us back from really dialing in because it was meant for my 5.56 AR and has turrets and tube size to match, but even with these limitations having near same hole groups at 100 yards and holding around 1/2″ to 3/4″ at 300 made me very happy! i can’t say enough about the cost to benefit for this rifle, we effortlessly hit some gongs at 500 as well and i have no doubt that 800-1000 would have been possible with the ideal conditions that we had but the range ended at 500 and we would have needed a better scope. the only obvious changes i made on the rifle were a gissele SSA-E Trigger and a bipod and a more solid stock. very pleased with this rifle and look forward to finally getting it outfitted like i want. i would recommend this to anyone who wants medium to long range on a budget. my friend who had a 10,000 dollar custom made bolt rifle that effortlessly hits at 500 was also impressed and asked several times about the rifle so that was proof enough for me.

This is my first AR-10. Awesome quality. Had one small issue when I first received the firearm where the bolt would get stuck closed when there was a round in the chamber. Had to pogo the rifle to removed the round. Called customer service and received a prompt easy fix. No issues since. Like Rolin the cerakote where my charging handle rubs is showing signs of wear. I have taken this rifle out to 700 yards no problem on factory ammo with a Vortex Crossfire II 6-18×44.

My LF 10 is a very well built, great looking and is as accurate as rifles costing way more dollars. I’ve got about 900 rounds through it without any major issues. With match ammo this gun handle’s 1000 yards with no problems. Only thing I wish it would have come with was an adjustable gas block, your brass is about 2 blocks away when you go to pick it up LOL. I would recommend this rifle to anyone. Thanks Robert
